Phoenix pressure pads are hand machined from solid blocks of acrylic. This has enabled some evolvement of the correct shape. At one stage, it was felt that the pad design to the left of the above image would be ideal. It certainly prevented pull out but was prone to causing abrasion when abused. This is because upward pressure from the erection causes the skin to stretch and the mix of friction and movement, in time, causes skin damage. Now, the pressure pads have flat bases which spread the pressure over a bigger area and the pad itself tilts.

This situation has left a box of the earlier version obsolete. They do make an excellent keyring and so and therefore, with every purchase during the sale, one of these keyrings will be included, until the box is empty.
