NEW-TAPERED BACK BANDS
New production processes have allowed the advent of tapered back bands. The taper occurs on one side of the reversible back band which gives two settings - if the taper faces front, more room opens at the base between the cage and the band. If the taper is worn next to the body, the flat edge will still give the same security as it does now.
Both settings contribute to a lower overall bulk and ease pressure through the base. All edges are still fully rounded.
