The back band is tapered. It has one flat edge and one angled adge to give a good choice of room differences between the cage base and back band leading edge. It is reversible and with the flat edge worn facing forward, the unit will tighten up. With the angled edge forward, the unit will loosen off. Either way, the narrow base gives extra comfort by reducing bulk.

The cage is permitted some sideways felixibilty which relieves inward pressure from clothing and the large back band to cage relationship allows the testicles to move and adjust to different physical situations. This gives total comfort during all physical activities.
